Mount Auburn Cemetery
Guided Tour with a Jewish Twist
Join Volunteer Docent Helen Abrams as she guides us on a walking tour of selected
sections of the cemetery and shares stories about some of the most interesting and
colorful Jewish residents of Mount Auburn. Did you know that Bernard Malamud, Felix
Frankfurter, I.F. Stone, Edwin Land, Anthony Lewis and Abraham Maslow are among
the famous Jews buried there?
When: Sunday October 22, 2023 Rain or Shine
Time: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Where: Mount Auburn Cemetery 580 Mt. Auburn St. Cambridge
Meeting location: Visitor’s Center inside Story Chapel, enter through Main Gate on Mount
Auburn Street. Restrooms are available in the Chapel
Parking: Parking is available on any of the roads in the cemetery that are not marked with a
green line, as long as all four tires are kept on the pavement and off the lawn in order to protect
Misc: It is recommended that you bring umbrellas, appropriate clothing, comfortable shoes, and
a water bottle. It should be noted that eating is not allowed on the grounds.
Cost: $20 PP: The fee covers the cost of the docent, tips at your discretion. Payment can
