Volunteer at Wakefield Community Dinners
November 8 @ 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Mitzvah opportunity! Temple Emmanuel is now partnered with Wakefield Community Dinners. Held at Most Blessed Sacrament in Wakefield, the Community Dinners happen the 2nd Wednesday of every month, with the opportunity to feed 80+ neighbors and friends from Wakefield, Stoneham, Melrose and towns as far as Medford, Salem and Norwood. Volunteer hours are 3:30-6:30pm. Guests come as families or alone. Although many are experiencing food insecurity, most are impacted with social isolation. We provide a hot meal, salad, bread, desserts, and most importantly, camaraderie. If you’d like to have fun, share smiles, and engage in holy work with Rabbi Greg, please sign up here.
